We're officially declaring today a snow day! I don't know if I can remember the last time we had 8 inches... Seriously, we DO NOT get snow here...and we've already had it twice this year.
Last night, the power went out and when you live in the country no power = NO WATER. Yikes...So, all 3 of us curled up in our bed to stay warm. Luckily, around 3 AM, the power was restored.
We're yet to get Maddox out in the snow. I attempted earlier, but he was in need of a nap, so he was not having it. So, perhaps later when we're more rested we will try it. But we did take some time to peer out....

He was in such awe!Thank goodness, for being lucky enough to stay home from work today (::fingers crossed:: I do have a few more hours of call, hoping not to receive the dreaded call)
