Cruising Around

Lately Maddox has been zooming in & out of rooms...he is truly an explorer. Close your eyes for a minute and he's gone.... It is almost impossible to keep him still. We're still doing the army crawl with a few "real" crawls every now and then. But either way he can just zoom zoom zoom. We're looking forward to him walking, haha. Life shall be fun. This morning I even caught him standing up in his crib, where has time gone? I'm thinking we have a new item on our to due list....lowering the mattress. And obstacles are nothing for him, under the chairs we go....

in fact this very picture is after he went under the chair to the nice blue light on the computer. It's just so eye catching. I'm waiting for him to turn the computer off... Why oh why do they make things so flashy, just so babies can see them...I'm seriously thinking so.

And along with an active baby comes new games to hold his attention while I'm trying to do things, such as laundry. So, into the clothes basket he goes. Instead of carrying the basket from room to room I just pull it, and boy is this fun! And it really cracks him up when I throw clothes into the dryer so he can hear the ding of them hitting the dryer wall. It truly hits the hilarious button for him.


And with an active little one, it's almost impossible to capture good pictures... so what do you do other than give him something to occupy himself. My camera lens cover did the trick for awhile...but then it's impossible to get him to look at the camera so you end up with pictures such as this...



but either way he is simply adorable

I sure think so...

Also, it's just a great age because instead of just laying there he can play and talk....
