Weekend Recap

Wow, what a GREAT (and exhausting) weekend.  We of course started our weekend early, on Friday with our BIG ultrasound.  A post coming later in the week on the ultrasound (I feel it deserves to be seperated).
On Saturday the boys hung out at home while I headed to the October Tour with some good friends from high school.  It's amazing that 7 years later we still hang out....love it!  And it was so great to see Heather who flew in from Texas to be a part. 

For those that aren't familiar with the October Tour (which I'm sure most of you are not), it is a tour of historic homes in Salisbury, NC.  Which also involves a ton of walking...

And unlike a good blogger, I didn't get a single picture.  So, of course I had to steal some from Facebook & The Salisbury Post

The homes were absolutely gorgeous & we had such a great time walking around.  Can't wait for next years...

On Sunday, we headed to the Pumpkin Patch.   I have been looking forward to taking Maddox ever since last year.  And I'm sure it will be even more exciting next year when he really understands and not to mention with a little girl added to the mix.  Unfortunately the weather is still super hot (near 90) here in the South so its hard to get that "Fall feel"...but we still had a ton of fun.
