BabyBond Review & Savings

One of the things that I wished I would have had with Maddox was a nursing cover.  I'm not open enough to nurse in public or even around friends/family without being discreet.  I was always disappearing into another room to nurse Maddox and I always felt left out.  So, I knew that a nursing cover was a must this time around.  But finding the right cover is a whole other issue.

Most covers hide the baby completely, which is great but what about that hot summer day or how are you supposed to interact with your baby?? That is why Missy Reder came up with the idea for Baby Bond. Missy, a speech-language pathologist knew that preverbal skills, eye contact, and attention were all vital to cognitive & language development.  So, when she became a mother she was determined to nurse in public without covering her baby's head.  However, like many of us she didn't want to expose herself. So, she came up with a prototype from one of her husband's t-shirts called the Slurp & Burp which later became BabyBond.

BabyBond was so gracious to send me one of their Couture covers in Hudson (black) to review. Despite the fact that I can't actually try it out now, I do know from my past experience that the concept seems to be great.  I love the fact that I will be able to nurse in public all while still being able to see Emma & make eye contact.

BabyBond, unlike other nursing covers is worn like a sash.  This way you're able to nurse from the top of your shirt.  You just separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on.  Your normal shirt keeps your belly & back covered.  All while still being able to see your baby & make eye contact.  And the best part is that most people would think that you were just holding your baby!

Plus, BabyBond offers 3 different styles of covers- Original, Flex & Couture

The Couture which I received is so versatile. Not only can you wear it as a nursing cover but as a belly band. Which makes it great!  It also rolls up into a self-storing pouch which makes it easy to stash in your diaperbag.

Plus, BabyBond would like to offer my reader's a 75% discount on their site for anyone that orders a BabyBond on Babiesrus.com. Which is an awesome deal, you're able to buy 2 BabyBonds for less than $46 (SUPER AWESOME).   All you need to do is email your receipt from Babies R' Us to missy@babybondnursing.com who will reply with a discount code for 75% off.  Doesn't get much better!

Thank you to BabyBond who provided us with the above mentioned product at no cost in exchange for my review. I was in no other way compensated. I was under no obligation to write a positive review, this review is my honest opion.
