Today's Show Us Your Life Friday from Kelly's Korner is...
Kid's Birthday Parties.
And with Maddox's 2nd Birthday (::tear, tear::) less than 5 months away it's time to start planning...however I'm thinking low key. Perhaps Gymboree Play and Music. It's sounding pretty good right now...but we shall see.
And of course I'm dying to see everyone else's ideas because I've only planned one kid's party (Maddox's 1st) which was themed Barnyard
And of course since then our computer crashed & I lost a lot of pictures but I do still have a few to share.

The Tissue paper wreath I made for the entrance...& even though you
can't see it there was a "1" and an "M" hanging down

I had pictures from 1 Month-12 Months hanging

Farm themed treats including Maddox's Garden
& "Little Piggies" & "Hay"
The beautiful & delicious cake made by my good friend Taylor
Complete with a smash cake
The Pig cookies I made as favors
And even though his 1st party was super fun I'm thinking the simpler the better for this year....
but I still want a theme. So I'm dying to see what everyone else post's.

Thanks for sharing the barnyard theme ideas! I'm between this and Mickey Mouse for my Punkin's first birthday (5 1/2 months away)
I've never been that ambitious with birthdays! I worry that if I do a party for one kid, then I have to do all of them and that seems like a lot of work. Also I have only winter birthdays so if we do have people over it's family - not other kids their age. My poor kids, right?!?
