It's a First...

Not only was last night the first snow of the season (and the first flakes I've even seen this Winter) but Emma Lou's FIRST SNOW. And boy was it the typical southern snow. Just barely a dusting and all melted by lunch time.

But nevertheless it was a snow & boy was Maddox excited. I've been showing him pictures of snow on everyone's blogs and he looks out the window everyday looking for snow. So, you can only imagine his excitement when it really did snow.

Emma wasn't quite sure what to think...but she sure was curious. ..

In my defense just the day before we were able to have lunch outside.

He woke up this morning and ran to the window to make sure it was still there. So of course we had to go out and "play" some more...

And thank goodness we did because in just a few hours it was all gone!
