J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller Review

I try to make it a point to exercise several times a week, whether it's walking or running. But, it's hard with two little ones. So, of course one of them usually tags along with me. But I want them to be comfortable. And they can be exactly that with the new J is for Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogger from Kolcraft. To anyone who has read my blog for awhile you know I'm a huge fan of Kolcraft.

All of their products, from bassinets to strollers to crib mattresses all meet my high standards.
All of their products are made to last! In fact on a side note...at our family's beach house we use a Pack N' Play from the 80's that still works like new!! Now, what other product are you using from the 80's that are as good as new?

But, just in case you don't know anything about Kolcraft, Kolcraft is a family owned and operated baby product manufacturer. They were started in 1946 when they started making playards. Since then they have expanded to include crib mattresses, baby strollers, activity centers and baby walkers, bassinets, training potty's and more. They have also partnered with recognizable brand names such as
 Jeep®, Sesame Street®, Contours® and Sealy®

I was so excited for the chance to try out one of their brand new Jeep line strollers ...The J is for Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogger . And I was so excited to find it waiting on our steps when we returned from vacation.

I'm so in love with the color! Lime green.

But of course the real test is putting the little one in and taking it for a spin...

I'm going to go with...she like's it
And so does her brother! Fit's both kids perfectly.
And with it's 60 lb weight limit I'm sure they'll fit comfortably for a very long time.

The stroller has such awesome features:

Compatible with many popular infant car seats (no adapter required) including: Baby Trend, Britax, Chicco, Cosco, Graco, Peg Perego and Safety 1st.

  • iBaby® sound system connects to your iPod® or MP3 player

  • 16 inch rear air-filled tires for jogging comfort and increased performance on uneven surfaces

  • Forward-locking front wheel provides increased wheel base and stability while jogging; swivels for everyday use

  • Shock-absorbing suspension system keeps the ride smooth

  • Smart Handle® adjusts to multiple heights

Multi-position reclining seat

Large underseat storage basket can be accessed from the front or back of the stroller

Convenient Free-Stand® design stands upright when folded

Child cup holder for easy access to cup/bottle

Adjustable 5-point harness & safety tether for safety

60 lbs. child weight capacity

JPMA Certified

One-year manufacturer warranty

And what I love the most...

Which makes putting the brake on SUPER EASY. Compared to other strollers that just have the red brakes. Which hurt your toes when you go to unlock them while wearing sandals. Ouch!

I'm not sure who was more excited about the iBaby Sound System...Maddox or myself. He kept wanting to hear the music.

And it was so easy..simply plug the Zune or my iPhone up & the music plays!
Make's running much more enjoyable not only for myself but for the kids.

I love the basket underneath...It's very large and I love that you can access it from the front as well as the back.
A large basket makes it perfect for taking to the mall.

I LOVE the size of the canopy. On other jogger's I've used I had to either pull it forward or backwards to block out either the sun or wind. Except the problem was...when I would pull it forward the wind/sun would come in the back. But, the J is for Jeep jogger seems to have a canopy that is big enough without having to move it.

I also am in LOVE with the shock absorbing suspension. I know this makes the ride more comfortable for Maddox & Emma. Because let's face it the road isn't smooth and this Momma seems to hit all the bumps.
I can honestly feel the difference the shocks make so I can only imagine how much my kids can tell.

I love the large viewing window...and no pulling a cover back to see.

And even though I don't need this feature right now...I LOVE that it is carseat compatible. So no need to have a travel system stroller. The jogger serves the purpose of two strollers.
So it's perfect not only for running/jogging but for taking to the park or the mall.

And I LOVE the fact that Kolcraft thought of everything including storage pockets for the carseat restraint straps.

I also must add that I love the simplicity of this stroller. Not only does it have everything & more that I need it has all the extras. In fact even my husband was impressed. And impressing him is something else...let's just say he normally doesn't have much to say either way about a stroller.

When I went to put it together I couldn't get the front bar to snap into place on the one side. But, he simply unscrewed the place on the frame where it connects and found the spring had came unconnected. He was able to easily reattach it and it worked! He was impressed because with most stroller's you would either have to use it broken or throw it away if a piece didn't work. But not the J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller.

So, not only did Jeep impress me, Maddox & Emma..they impressed the hubs!
Way to go!
