So, if you read HERE you know I am a bit bummed about the whole crib/dresser situation...
so how bad does it look to have a white crib & antique white dresser (from JCPenny).
If we hadn't bought the dresser new & paid full price for it I would just paint it.
But being we did I hate to do so.

Here's my opinion. It definitely doesn't look bad- I maybe wouldn't have chose to do it that way (either did you!) but doesn't look bad. Where's the antique from? Is it a family thing passed on? If it's just something you fond on craigslist or something maybe you could paint it a fun color? But I'm sure if it's one that's been in the family you probably don't want to do that!!
Love the walls in Emma's room by the way. Not the normal pepto bismal pink I see everyone in girls rooms.
I think you are fine...Once you have all the baby stuff in there, you wont even notice. I had a similar situation happen last year. I received a crib and changing table, from babies r us....I had registered for both, and they are from the same collection. Well we opened the changing table right away and put it together...and it is a perfect shade a dark brown...well when we finally opened the crib. It was a much lighter color...more like a honey color...I called them and they said that there was a known problem and the cribs got stained too many times...haha...I was angry...they told me I could bring it back, but that the new one may not match either...so after fighting with them, I got $50.00 for my hassle and just dealt with the mismatch furniture....I really don't even notice it any more....good luck!

It goes together just fine and it looks nice. They may be a little off in color but the average person that looks at it won't even hesitate. Once the room get's more filled up and decorated more you wont' even be able to tell :)
I'm in the minority here. I don't like them together. If you can't find an antique white crib somewhere that is a closer match, I'd do a dark or cherry wood finish on the crib instead of white.

I would bet that 9 out of 10 people would never notice. However, if it was in my nursery it would drive me crazy. I LOVE the antique white dresser!! I know the crib was a last minute thing, what about painting it?? Maybe the green or orange color that is in her bedding? Just a thought.
P.S. I LOVE that bedding! Totally would have picked it if they had it when my little was a babe!!
I like the placement of the bed. However as baby gets older make sure that the string from the blinds are not on the same side as the bed children get tangled in them and it gets very dangerous. I looks spacious and I love it!
I actually think it's really cute. If you want to tie it into the room even more, you could even get some blue knobs or something for the dresser :)
