well almost, Tuesday is her actual birthday but we decided to celebrate yesterday with an owl themed party. I can hardly believe a year has passed. I'm so sad to see my sweet baby girl grow up but at the same time I'm excited to see what God has in store for her.
So, get ready for some picture overload...and for those that follow me on pinterest get ready to see my pinnings come to life, lol. Seriously, how could I ever plan a party without it.
Welcome to Emma's Owl Nest...
We decided to have her party this year at our church fellowship hall & boy am I happy I did.
It's so much easier...no cleaning the house before, after and in between.
The party was decked out in turqouise & pink for my sweet little princess.
Welcome to her party...
Almost too pretty to cut.
Emma Lou's smash cake...
from Emma Lou
Pink lemonade was served
And of course cake pops made by yours truly
Thanks to big cousin Paisley & brother Maddox for helping her blow out her cande
The cleanup was the fun part...
And of course present time
Thanks to all our sweet family & friends for coming to help celebrate Emma's BIG DAY!
And of course no party is perfect without the "perfect shoes"

Perhaps I should have ironed my pink backdrop, oh well |
The party guests enjoyed cake & ice cream. And boy was the cake delicous. Bottom tier was 5 flavor pound cake & the top strawberry sponge. YUMM! And to complete the look the adorable cake topper was made by Arts by Khary (full review to come)
