A Weekend of Fun

Can I just say the more children you have the worse you get with pictures. Seriously, I at least used to take my camera. Now I completely forget it. Thank goodness for iPhone's & friends who actually take pictures.

This past weekend I headed to Savannah, GA for a little girl time & to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of a very close friend. 

We stayed at the cutest little apartment in downtown. Just walking distance from everything which I highly recommend.

Our agenda was planned...first up supper at The Lady & Son's. Yeah, yeah I know...perfect timing. Our reservations were booked months in advance. You know you can't go to Savannah without visiting Paula Deen's. Talk about yummy!

Another must in Savannah... a ghost tour. The hardest question was which one to choose but we went with the Boos & Brews

perhaps we didn't see any actual ghosts (bummer) but we did visit some awesome pubs and hear lots of stories.

A day at the beach was also in store...Tybee Island.

Followed by a night on the town..love these girls!

Supper at the tapas bar which was super yummy. We all chose our "favorite" tapa and shared..serious yumm.

Another must see...the rooftop bar at The Bohemian Hotel.

And to finish the weekend off we headed home to celebrate the upcoming arrival of another little one. 

We kept it low key with ice cream sundaes (yum). Can't wait to meet this sweet little boy.

Norah's Rose Bowtique Review & GIVEAWAY

Not only is this completely adorable & just screams for compliments when I take Emma out...but the greatest thing is the flower simply detaches (velcros) for washing.

Another thing that I simply LOVE about her work is that the headband is softly made.  Many of the "cute" headbands have a hard part where the flower/clip is attached which ends up leaving an indention on her head.  Definitely can't be comfortable!  But not Norah's!  It's so softly made which is perfect for Emma's delicate skin.

So adorable & would make the perfect baby shower gift!

Tomorrow...

will be my 3rd shower (the 2nd was a very small one with just a few 'ol friends). Tomorrow's shower is sponsored by the women of the church. I can hardly wait! Hopefully I'll get a good night's rest tonight...after working 2 days in a row I'm quite exhausted and quite swollen I might add. If not I may have to go barefoot. Not sure I have many shoes that will fit on elephant feet.
