Meet the Contours Bliss Stroller....




As you can imagine with three children 4 years  (almost) and under I have tried my number of strollers. And it doesn't help that I'm a stroller addict (yep, I admitted it). From umbrella strollers, to double, to travel systems to joggers...I have tried them.

And there's several factors that make a stroller one that "I love".

• Lightweight because juggling 3 young children & putting a stroller into the back of my van is a task and not always an easy one.
• Ease in folding because once again I juggle 3 children.
• Comfortable for my children
• Stylish (yes, this is important to me)
• Easy to store
• Can be used from birth to toddler (because I have a 3 month old, 2 year old & almost 4 year old)

And I am happy to say that the Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Stroller meets ALL of those factors. Seriously, a stroller that meets all of them. How is that even possible?!?

Earlier this year I started hearing about The Bliss & I was very excited to try it out firsthand.

It definitely lived up to all the hype.

I couldn't wait to break it out of the box & put it together. I even decided to brave it on my own with 3 kids underfoot...

 It was very simple.  

Out of the box & together in less than 10 minutes... my kind of stroller!

In fact, the only thing you really have to do is snap the wheels on.

The first thing that I definitely noticed was it's stylishness. Very slick & pretty. To some that may not matter...but to me it did.

My ABSOLUTE favorite feature of the stroller is that it can  be made into a pram. Unlike many other prams this stroller is affordable.

And the best part is that you don't have to purchase a separate piece. Which also means you don't have to store an extra piece. Double score. Very important to me because I have no extra storage space.

Contours also provides a comfortable pad to place inside of the pram.  They truly thought of so many little features to make it "the stroller" for your child (and you).

The pram is perfect for my 3 month old. Many times he falls asleep when we go out for a stroll so it's perfect for him to lay down.

And another great thing is that the pram/carrycot can be used alone. Perfect to take Hudson in following a walk. He can remain sleeping.

I also love the fact that it is compatible with my infant car seat (compatible with over 20 Infant car seats).

Perfect to take him directly from the car to the stroller without actually moving him.

The Bliss is definitely a stroller that can be used from birth on up through preschool age 

(max child weight 40 lbs). 

If I was creating a baby registry this would be the first thing on it.

The Bliss also has multiple features that make it superb...

(the only thing I miss is a parent tray to store my phone and/or keys)

A foot muff/boot...which is included!

I love the design inside of the canopy...Hudson found it very entertaining.

Hudson is around 24 inches & 14 lbs
Emma 35 inches & 25 lbs
Maddox is around 31 lbs

The Contours Bliss pushes very well whether on a trip to the mall or out for a walk. In fact I have taken it on 3-4 mile walk & performed very well. It was very easy to push & Hudson enjoyed his ride.

I was provide the below mentioned product in exchange for my honest review. 

We all know it but newborns get up during the night A LOT, and even though Hudson isn't truly a newborn anymore at 2 months old he still gets up (sometimes). So, instead of hiking upstairs to his room every time he cries he sleeps in our room. In fact the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) recommends room sharing to reduce the risk of SIDS.  And well, our room is a tad cramped with our king bed, dressers, etc.  Not really enough room for a crib So, we opt to use a bassinet in the beginning. Not to mention the fact that a crib swallows them whole in the beginning or even at 2 months old for that matter.

As a Kolcraft mom we recently had the opportunity to try out their
Kolcraft Cuddle N' Care 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleeper
A mouth full but honestly it's so much more than a bassinet. With all of it's features it deserves a title like that.

Features:

• Incline sleeper attachment for babies that need their head elevated

Like many infants Hudson has reflux and wakes up coughing & gagging at times. So, to us the incline sleeper has came in very handy. It has allowed not only him to sleep better but us as well.

• Incline sleeper attachment removes easily for use as a traditional bassinet

The incline sleeper simply snaps into place which makes it easy to transition back & forth. Within the next week or so I plan on transitioning him to the regular bassinet so he will hopefully be able to transition to his crib easier. 

• Light vibes electronic unit includes classic music, nature sounds, vibrations & soft-glow check light

I absolutely love this feature not only for the music & sounds but for the light. LOVE not having to turn on the overhead light to just check on him. I'm sure my husband appreciates this feature as well,

• Easily converts to a rocking bassinet
• Locking casters for room to room mobility
• Canopy mobile with three hanging soft toys

• Large storage basket for all baby's needs

Most definitely another important feature. I can not even count the number of times I've had to go searching for a change of outfit or blanket during the night due to an "accident". Thankfully, I'm able to place everything I need down below for easy access.

We're definitely loving our bassinet here at Houghton Happening's. It is the perfect height for looking into from our bed. Our favorite features are the incline sleeper & the soft glow check light. The only thing that I personally feel could be improved is that Hudson tends to slide down on the incline sleeper. It does come with straps to buckle him in, however we still swaddle for nighttime so at this time I'm unable to buckle him.

I also must add that it was super easy to put together. In fact I did it completely by myself within 15 minutes. Now that's saying something for this "mommy brain" and not to mention that I had 3 little ones "helping" me.

I also love the gender neutral fabric. A purchase that can be used with each child whether boy or girl.

With already having 2 older kids you would have thought that I would have already completed the baby proofing. But not so...

Sure, the easy things were taken care of. The outlet covers, the cabinet locks, etc. But 

our coffee table & TV stand still sported sharp corners. We've definitely had some goose eggs & bruises along the way but I just didn't have a good solution.  That is until recently when I had the chance to review the Roving Cove 16 pc Safe Corner Cushions.

Even though I'm yet to try it, they're supposed to be easily removable. Directions say to just pull directly off.

In fact many of our visitors haven't even realize that they were there. They don't stand out like a sore thumb which is what I love the most.  Yeah, yeah I also love the fact that all 3 of my kids noggins are more protected. But at the same time I don't want my house to look hideous.

Another great thing about the Roving Cove Safe Corner Cushions is that they are non-toxic. Because lets face it, kids chew on everything! Maddox & Emma are at the age where they know better but before we know it Hudson will be pulling up & chewing/mouthing things. So non-toxic is definitely a big deal for us.

And another great thing is that they come in a pack of 16. So, not only was I able to babyproof my coffee table & TV stand but I was able to babyproof my side tables. I love the fact that it eliminates the need to buy multiple packs.

Sesame Street Elmo Fruits & Fun Booster Seat Review & {GIVEAWAY}

Several months ago we put our high chair up. Emma pretty much refused to sit in it so it was just taking up space. At only two (going on 13) she isn't quite big enough to sit properly at the kitchen table. So, we were thrilled at the chance to try out the new Kolcraft Sesame Street Booster Seat 

Emma & Maddox couldn't wait to try it out. In fact they both fight over who is going to sit in it. I think purchasing a second one is in our near future. I also love the fact that Hudson can sit in it starting around 6 months. So nice to not have a bulky high chair taking up space. And I LOVE the fact that it easily folds for travel (and storage). So, we will be able to take it along on vacations.

And even though my older two don't necessarily need it, a 3 position adjustable tray is included. The seat is the perfect size because not only does it fit my 2 year old, it also fits perfectly for my almost 4 year old (fits up to 45 lbs).

It also has a 3 point restraint to help keep my wiggly kids safe.

Another great feature that I found was that it is height adjustable to get your baby/child to the height of the dinner table.

And because easiness is a mother's best friend, the back & seat can easily be wiped off.

The only con that I could find was that it barely fit around our chairs. It did fit but I would think that there would be some chairs that it wouldn't work for because I don't feel that ours are overly large.

Honestly, the picture doesn't even do justice to the print. It is perfect for boy or girl and perfect for that stylish mom (which I like to think is me).

Not only do I love their prints but I love the contoured design! One thing important to breastfeeding is that you have the baby rolled in toward you the mother. So, their contoured design helps to encourage the correct feeding position!! It naturally rolls the baby towards you.

Another thing that I know is A MUST after having 2 other children is that everything needs to be easy care. And that's exactly what their pillow is. The cover is removable, 100% cotton, and machine washable!!

Another thing that is A MUST is simplicity! When you have a hungry screaming baby the last thing you want is complicated. Their pillow is so simple, no buckles or straps. Simply slide it up against you...the baby naturally rolls in...and the rest is up to you!

Other than the gorgeous fabric, one of the first things I noticed was how soft & comfortable the pillow felt. It is firm but yet soft. The perfect place for your baby to lay during a feeding. And perfect for all those times your baby falls asleep after nursing when you just want them to lay there so you can stare at their perfection (what mom doesn't enjoy that).
