Another Sneak Peek at Hudson's Nursery

6 Weeks from today (or less) baby Hudson will join our family!

We are getting so excited anticipating his arrival. 

And of course with a new baby comes yet another nursery that I'm dying to show off.

It is yet to be completed...I'm thinking some navy long curtains & perhaps some paper lanterns to hang above the crib. Not really sure. But for now wanted to give another glimpse into Hudson's room.

And of course he needed a monogram to complete his room...so I was so excited to come across

She was so awesome to coordinate along with bedding to make the perfect set of prints for his room.

A Nursery Sneak Peek...Funny Farm Creations Review

With only 7 weeks to go the nursery is starting to come together. Seriously, only SEVEN weeks or less until Hudson makes his appearance.

I debated whether to use the bedding that I had with Maddox but when I came across Carousel Designs & found a navy & citron chevron blend I fell in love. I knew it was perfect for Hudson's nursery.

I'm on the search for the finishing touches. I feel like something needs to hang above his crib to complete the room...maybe paper lanterns!?!

It's Coming Along...

With all my giveaway's I seem to forget to post "real" posts...

so I thought it was time to share the update on the upstairs.

Remember this was how it looked last time.

Yes, we have lights & the plumbing is complete.  The insulation is almost complete. 

Yet there's so much more to do & so little time.  I will be so excited to see the sheet rock start going up.

Nursery Updates

The nursery is fully finished or well almost... Still one picture to hang (Josh LOVES hanging things on our walls...NOT). So I still have to continue to coax him into hanging it up. Then all we'll have left is to buy the rocker/glider.



I'm just so happy with how Maddox's room turned out. I could just go in there and sit ALL day. Which is a little uncomfortable right now without a chair...but that doesn't mean I don't do it, haha. It is absolutely my favorite room in the house! And I'm sure I will see plenty of it in the upcoming restless nights.

Yes, the little man has a TV complete with satellite. This was a must for Daddy.

All set for those dirty diapers.

Diaper bag is all ready to go...well almost.

All set for the little man! I couldn't resist placing the little lion in there...it matched so good. (And yes, I will be taking it out when he arrives)

Maddox, your room is all finished...just a few more weeks and you can come out and play.

Nursery Updates

Yes, we're officially done painting!!!!!! Now it's time to move everything in which will most likely be tomorrow. His crib will sit underneath his initials. It's all ready to go. We went to Baby's R' Us and bought his mattress today. So of course I had to put all the bedding in the crib to see how it all looked. And it looks wonderful. More pictures to come after the rooms all set up.

4 Down...Monogram to go

The hard part is finished. My aunt & uncle came last night to finish up and I have to say it looks absolutely fabulous! Now, all that is left is for my cousin to come and paint his name/initials (haven't quite decided which) over the crib. Oh my, we're getting so close (He should be here in less than 2 months).

Make that 3 Down

We now have blue, white & brown and I'm loving it. Too bad Josh isn't having as much fun with it. He decided to help my aunt out by going ahead and doing the brown stripe yesterday (which I might add looks great). However, I think he's going to kill me for wanting to do the stripe thing.

Stay tuned...after tonight we should have the green stripe as well.

2 Down, 2 to Go

Colors that is. We now have the blue & white finished. My aunt came yesterday to paint the white stripe. So exciting to be getting close to finished. Now all that is left is the green & brown stripes. And of course...his initials over his bed. Nothing would be complete without monogramming (for all of those that know me, you know I love monogrammed things). More painting to be completed tomorrow...so stay tuned for updated pictures.
